A building in north Atlanta is expected to be converted into a salon and spa.
A project called SW Salon and Spa is proposed for 4153 Roswell Road NE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The site is east of Chastain Park, between the wallpaper store Wallpaper Plus and the photography studio Aperturent Studios.
A complete renovation is proposed for the main floor of the building, with all new finishes, as well as new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
Licensed aesthetician, skin care specialist and beauty professional Ryan Christopher is listed as the owner of the project. He is the creator of Beauty by Ryan, a skin care practice specializing in health and wellbeing of the skin. Beauty by Ryan also offers consulting services for fellow beauty professionals.
Construction documents for SW Salon and Spa indicate plans for a shampoo room, a room for a colorist, several rooms for salon chairs, and two spa rooms. Studio H Architecture is listed as the architectural team working on the salon.
The business would be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, according to the documents.
