A concept called Bao Gogo is planned for 982 Memorial Drive in Reynoldstown, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The application proposes to remodel the existing suite into a restaurant, including building a kitchen, partitions and restrooms, as well as new ceilings and lighting.

It appears that the restaurant would be going into a ground-floor tenant space at the Gibson by Radius Apartments. The estimated cost of construction on the 1,865-square-foot space is $650,000, according to the application.

Drawings indicate plans for indoor seating and a bar.

The establishment is owned by Jing Food Inc., which was created in May 2024, according to a filing with the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

  1. Stopped by the newly opened EL•PASO TACOS + TEQUILA today and the food was lukewarm with no flavor. Ordered the lunch quesadillas w/steak & side of queso dip. Meat tastes & look like roast beef. Queso dip wasn’t that good either. Had LOTS of servers standing around gossiping but not attempting to help when they saw me trying to get their attention. I should’ve left because they tried to sit me in the back next to the restrooms when I first walked into the empty restaurant where most of the severs was. Not once did they ask how was the food. “TERRIBLE”

  2. I have dined all over the south from California to Florida at Tex-Mex restsurants. Twice thisxeeek I dined at the new El Paso in Lilburn and rate it A+. It is better than most other Mexican restaurants in Atlanta. Love their chips and black bean dip.
