A new gas station and convenience store is in the works in DeKalb County.
QuikTrip is planned for 4733 Memorial Drive in Decatur, according to construction plans. The documents indicate that existing structures at the site are expected to be demolished, followed by construction of the new QuikTrip.
Founded in 1958, QuikTrip has grown to more than 1,000 stores in 17 states. The privately held company is based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
In addition to traditional convenience store fare, the stores also offer hot items like sandwiches, pretzels and pizza, grab-and-go options like sandwiches and wraps, and specialty drinks and frozen treats.

Good god, might as well live in the burbs with quick trip on the west side and midtown and Dollar General in the Hanover building at 7th and Peachtree.
