Origin Hotel Atlanta, a Wyndham hotel, is slated to have 122 guest rooms. The hotel is in a 1950s-era office building at 110 Mitchell Street SW, near Mercedes-Benz Stadium and State Farm Arena.

Origin Hotel Atlanta is set to open this August.

The developer of the hotel is Thrash Group, Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. The real estate development company based in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, acquired the building in 2022.

Established in 1986, Thrash Group has several hotels and residential projects in its portfolio, including multiple apartment communities in Georgia.

Origin Hotel Atlanta will feature Butter + Scotch, a full-service restaurant by Chef Malik Rhasaan and Detric Fox-Quinlan, as well as private event space on the top floor.

The interior will feature exposed brick walls and high concrete ceilings, maintaining some of the building’s architectural details, according to the hotel website. The lobby will include a 50-foot art installation that serves as a “graceful nod to the neighborhood’s thriving arts community.”
