More people in McDonough will soon be able to run on Dunkin’ with another location of the donut and coffee chain in the works.
The restaurant is planned for 480 Highway 155 South, according to construction documents. It would be about 1,700 square feet and include a drive-thru, according to the plans.
Georgia Donuts SE LLC is listed as the owner of the upcoming location. The nearest existing Dunkin’ is about three miles away.
Dunkin’ was founded in 1950. It is now the largest coffee and donut brand in the U.S., with more than 13,700 locations worldwide. The menu includes a variety of signature coffee beverages, tea and donuts, as well as other all-day breakfast items like sandwiches, bagels and muffins.
Dunkin’ is part of Inspire Brands, a restaurant company whose portfolio includes nearly 32,000 restaurant locations across more than 60 countries. The company acquired Dunkin’ in 2020.
