Chamblee has a new luxury apartment community, with Chamblee City Heights beginning leasing efforts, Urbanize Atlanta first reported.
The five-story project at 2124 American Way includes 243 residential units and about 13,000 square feet of commercial space. Some units are still under construction, according to the news outlet, but floor plans include one- and two-bedroom units. Features include 10-foot ceilings and vinyl plank flooring. Some units have built-in desks, mudrooms and in-unit washers and dryers.
Amenities include 2,200-square-foot fitness and yoga center, a clubroom with a daily breakfast bar, coworking areas, podcast recording studios, a resort-style pool and a pet spa.
The project comes from The Worthing Companies, a Sandy Springs-based real estate development firm specializing in multifamily properties. After more than 35 years, the company has developed over 40,000 units. Their portfolio includes several Atlanta communities, including Chastain Heights, Westside Heights, and Heights at West Midtown, along with properties in Texas, Tennessee and North Carolina.
Atlanta-based Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio is the architecture and design firm behind the Chamblee project. According to the studio, Chamblee City Heights “features a unique architectural style that ties back to the area’s industrial roots.”
Chamblee is located in DeKalb County, northeast of Atlanta.
