A new pilates studio is planned for Atlanta.
A location of Club Pilates is proposed for 144 Moreland Avenue NE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta.
Club Pilates began in San Diego in 2007. The fitness franchise offers a variety of classes, including reformer-based classes, cardio sculpting, suspension training, stretching-focused classes and more.
The upcoming Atlanta studio comes from Aligned Fitness Holdings, a franchisee of Club Pilates studios in Georgia and North Carolina.
The new studio would be going into a ground-floor retail space that measures 2,265 square feet, according to the application. The scope of work includes several new walls and some demolition.
Club Pilates has 1,000 studios across the globe, making it the world’s largest pilates brand and studio network. There are about 20 locations around metro Atlanta.
Chastain Park is also getting a Club Pilates, with a new location planned for the Roswell-Wieuca Shopping Center, What Now Atlanta previously reported.
