The Bell Stand is planned for Monarch Plaza at 3414 Peachtree Road, according to a liquor license application with the City of Atlanta.
The concept comes from STHRN Hospitality Co., a company that develops and operates cafés, bars, full-service restaurants and food halls for building owners.
According to STHRN Hospitality Co., The Bell Stand is “designed to offer customers and visitors of the Monarch Plaza a quick and healthy variety of food and drink, to be enjoyed on the go or in an elevated, Mediterranean-inspired café atmosphere.” There will also be curated retail offerings, with local and regional gifts as well as food and wine.
A Monarch Plaza brochure describes the concept as a café and bottle shop, with “convenient, health-conscious fare and locally sourced coffee from Opo.” Opo Coffee is a Decatur roastery and café.
Monarch Plaza is a 15-story, 368,000-square-foot office building from Highwoods Properties.
According to the liquor license application, the new café would be open 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday. While located in the office building, it will be open to the public, according to the application. The space is 3,200 square feet.
The Bell Stand is expected to open in late 2024.
This isn’t the only new concept STHRN Hospitality Co. is working on in the Atlanta area. As What Now Atlanta recently reported, the company is also bringing several new dining options to Perimeter Summit, a large mixed-use campus in north Atlanta. Little Gem will offer a variety of breakfast and lunch options and grab-and-go food, and Pizza Stop will serve pizza slices, sandwiches and salads.
