The restaurant will open as part of the new yet-to-be-named, floor-to-ceiling-windowed shark saltwater gallery, which is one of several new elements coming to the aquarium as part of the organization’s “Expansion 2020” project.

Slated to open in late-fall 2020, the saltwater gallery was first announced in 2018 along with plans for a new entrance and plaza.

“The new space will have views of the World of Coca-Cola and Pemberton Cafe and will include an event space, ” Joseph Kennedy, the regional director for Restaurant Associates, the restaurant’s operator, shared with What Now Atlanta during a phone interview.

Construction on the 8,750-square-foot eatery is estimated at a whopping $3,500,000, according to plans filed with the City of Atlanta.

1015 Level Cafe’s menu offers fast-casual eats like hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, french fries, and pizza.

It is expected to open in December 2020.
