Scott, who operates two locations of his Whole Hog BBQ restaurant in Charleston and Birmingham, is expected to open his Adair Park location in September. Permitting for the new restaurant got underway in May after the plans were announced last year.

Nick Pihakis, the former CEO of Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ, is a partner on the incoming restaurant adjacent to the West End MARTA station and situated between Murphy Avenue and Metropolitan Parkway in the 1.1 million-square-foot development.

[Editor’s note: an earlier version of this article placed The Met in Atlanta’s West End. The neighborhood is actually Adair Park.]

Error in the article. The Met is located in Adair Park, not West End.
