Co-Owner Andy Bibliowicz and his partners are determined to make the restaurant not only an amenity to the resident of The Milton, but to the neighborhood.

“We don’t currently have a space like Peoples Town Coffee Bar in the neighborhood,” Bibliowicz told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview. “The concept is fashioned after a third-place mindset. It’s where you spend time outside of your home and the office, places one and two. Peoples Town Coffee Bar, is the third — a true community space.”

Bibliowicz and the Peoples Town Coffee Bar team pan to create a blend between a coffee and pastry shop in the morning and a place to grab a glass of wine, craft beer, or ready-to-drink cocktail, in the evening. On the coffee side of things, Peoples will serve Methodical and Portrait. Pastries will be sourced locally, including from Chef Nadia Deljou of Delle Dining. Evening bites will be French-inspired — think charcuterie, shared plates, and French bread sandwiches.

“It’s a 0.3 mile walk to the shop from my house and my partners live in Lakewood a mile down the road,” Bibliowicz said. “We’re a part of this community.”

The space, currently under construction, is about 1,800 square feet with nearly 70 seats inside and a patio that can seat 25 comfortable. There’s an additional room for six to eight guests at the primary bar inside. Bibliowicz said the space will feel “airy and clean but with a French touch.”

And although coffee is in the company’s name, Peoples isn’t just for coffee lovers. “We’re about great quality, affordable food, drinks, and a community space. The immediate neighborhood is our priority but we’re excited to serve BeltLine users too.”
