The store’s opening will begin with a ribbon cutting with Mayor Kasim Reed, and the first 50 guests will receive a free 413 BLKR Velvet Matte Lip Pencil.

Barbara Calcagni, President of NARS Cosmetics told the Atlanta Journal Constitution that the brand has experienced success in the Atlanta market as indicated by 36% growth. Opening a boutique has been part of the company’s strategy to continue that success.

The Atlanta boutique will be a 1,400 square foot black, white and red space featuring a special 150 square foot private VIP room in the back which may be reserved by individual guests seeking a private session or up to four for group makeup applications.

Makeup application stations at the NARS shop have been specially crafted with engineers who have perfected the amount of lighting so that it is conducive to make up application at any time of day.

Other interior accents will feature short films, created by NARS, and a bookshelf displaying some of the company’s favorite items including candles.

Discounts will be available for local make-up artists through the Pro Artists program.
