The project from Flournoy Development Group would create 350,000 square feet of residential space in the form of 299 units, along with a six-story parking deck containing about 448 spaces.
Cobb County commissioners voted last year to sell the nearly 3.8-acre site at 4600 Atlanta Road to the group. The site is located east of I-285.
Flournoy Development Group has requested rezoning of the property in preparation of the five-story project. According to a rezoning application, the average unit size would be 830 square feet, along with metal balconies.
Based in Columbus, Georgia, Flournoy specializes in multifamily real estate. The company’s portfolio includes Ellison Parkview near The Battery and Ellison at The Exchange in Buford, along with several other properties in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.
