Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group facilitated the transaction of Mojave. The restaurant serves a fusion of Latin American cuisine and handcrafted cocktails. The menu includes a variety of tacos and tamales, enchiladas, seafood and more.

The approximately 6,000-square-foot restaurant has indoor seating for more than 100 people. It also features a full bar and an outdoor patio.

The buyers are Lana Yakovleva and Rainer Shaw. Shaw was previously the regional director of operations at Le Bilboquet Atlanta, a French bistro and bar in Buckhead. He was also the vice president of operations for Brewed to Serve Restaurant Group, Inc. He is now the area director for AG Entertainment, overseeing several nightlife concepts, and the owner of Rising Sun Concepts.

Mojave had taken over the former space of Rio Bravo at 6450 Powers Ferry Road NW several years ago.
