The menu features pulled pork, ribs, and turkey as well as some “Southern flare” with fried shrimp. There are standard sides, including collard greens, mac ‘n cheese, and baked beans, as well as some rotating options. “Everything is fresh and made to order,” Carlock told What Now Atlanta. The restaurant will also offer a patio and a bar with TVs to watch sports.

Moe’s BBQ was founded in 1988 by Ben Gilbert, Mike Fernandez, and Jeff Kennedy, who met at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The business has locations around the nation, including Alabama, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, and even abroad in Mexico City. Carlock estimates that there are approximately 60 locations.

  1. Wait, steak AND seafood? No way. I love the combination, but when I read about steak and seafood Italian-style I can’t help getting confused.
I actually know most locan steakhouses and seafood restaurants

So, this new venue looks a bit bizzare. But Andres Giovanni knows what he’s doing, so I’m actually looking forward to seeing what comes out of this Osteria di Mare.

  2. I have been a customer of Taqueria del Mar for many years and can honestly say that I have never had a bad or even a so-so meal there. If Andrew can bring the same game to his new restaurant, I’m sure it will be very successful.

    Best wishes to you!
