The team behind Halo East Decatur is Northwood Ravin, a multifamily development, construction and property management firm based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Construction is beginning on the mid-rise development, Urbanize Atlanta reports. Halo East Decatur is slated to have 370 residential units, as well as commercial space.

Documents indicate that approximately 15,831 square feet of retail space is envisioned for the development, including a coworking/cafe space. Public greenspace and possibly a grocery store are also envisioned for the development, along with a parking garage.

Halo East Decatur will be located near the Avondale MARTA station.

The exact vision for the development has changed over the years, with the project originally called East Decatur Station and 400 housing units initially planned. The number of units was reduced in order to add room for more greenspace.

Halo East Decatur is expected to be complete in 2025 or 2026.
