Perennial Properties is transforming a swath of land into a total of 328 residential units, Urbanize Atlanta reports. Forty-three of those units would be rental townhomes.

The project has broken ground and should be fully completed by the end of next year or early 2026, according to the news outlet.

The original vision was to build 237 apartments and 44 rental townhomes. Documents from 2022 indicate that the project would include a mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom market-rate units. The development would include greenspace and about 5,000 square feet of retail space.

The land known as the “Bag Factory Site” is located south of East Lake Golf Club, the oldest golf course in Atlanta.

Perennial Properties is an Atlanta-based commercial development firm that specializes in luxury apartments with street-level retail. Their portfolio includes the Ella Apartments in East Lake, The Brady in West Midtown, N. Highland Steel in Inman Park and more.
