Construction is estimated to cost $750,000, as listed in the original permit filing. However, a company spokesperson recently told What Now Atlanta the total cost will near around 3 million dollars.

Akly registered Zakia Restaurant, LLC with the Georgia Secretary of State in March, and is listed as the company’s registered agent, organizer, and member.

In 2010, Akly opened {Three} Sheets restaurant and lounge. Eight years later Mission + Market was opened at Three Alliance Center in Buckhead. According to their website, “Mission + Market is the product of more than 25 years of globally influenced culinary experience.”

{Three} Sheets was permanently closed down in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In its replacement are plans to open an Italian restaurant under the name Tre Vele, which will debut on September 20th, 2021, the spokesperson who also represents Tre Vele said.

Correction: an earlier version of this article listed an incomplete price of construction and did not properly credit both business partners. An opening date for Tre Vele has also been added.
