The pizza joint on Wednesday closed for a private event, according to a note on the restaurant’s front door, but never reopened Thursday.

MidiCi later announced on social media that the Midtown restaurant, the company’s sole Atlanta location, was calling it quits for good.

The chain is still in Georgia, however, with a location in Savannah.

“[First], thank you to all our employees that helped build this business and to our vendors and our guests that have been apart of this journey the past few years,” MidiCi Midtown wrote in an Instagram message.

“We have decided to close up and pursue other ventures and take on new challenges.”

MidiCi has been situated in its prime Midtown corner space since early-2018.

  1. The space was WAY too big. Great food, but it always looked empty because it was 2-3 times bigger than it needed to be… bet their rent was outrageous.

  2. We stopped going there because it suffered the same malady as many midtown restaurants…terrible service. We stopped going to Babalo and Caravaca Markwt for the same reason. The owners and managers need to pay more attention to customer service.

  3. It is sad but not surprising. The customer service was terrible. They were slow and inattentive to their customers. Then on top of the terrible service, they raised the prices! The pizza was good but not for the prices they were charging.
