MetroFresh Uptown, the sister concept to Midtown’s long-standing MetroFresh, will grand open on Wednesday, August 21, Owner Mitchell Anderson confirmed in an email to What Now Atlanta.
The health food-focused, fast-casual eatery and wine bar is situated in One Midtown Plaza, at 1360 Peachtree St NE.
MetroFresh Uptown will be open Monday through Friday for breakfast and lunch from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It is situated adjacent to the office building’s plaza and offers a full cocktail and coffee bar, with seating inside and out.
Anderson said the liquor license is still “TBD, but we’re hoping we’ll have it just before or just after Labor Day.”
The actor-turned-restauranteur is not only making moves in Atlanta’s hospitality scene.
Anderson in 2018 joined Amazon Prime digital series After Forever which won five 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards.
After MetroFresh Uptown opens later this month, Anderson will return to New York to film season two, he said.
