“We’re taking our BAR MetroFresh brand that we created at MetroFresh Uptown and putting it in our Midtown Promenade location,” MetroFresh Inc. Owner Mitchell Anderson said.

He said the chef-driven fast-casual dining spot is in the final weeks of getting its full liquor license and will be going back to dinner service on May 3 “with a full bar.”

The Midtown Promenade location will also be expanding its weekend hours to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and to 8 p.m. on Sundays.

“We have an unusual opportunity, that doesn’t usually happen to a 15-year-old business, coming out of COVID-19 restrictions to rebrand our nighttime at MetroFresh,” Anderson explained in an email to What Now Atlanta. “We are hoping to create a fun and casual meeting place that is more about hanging out than just grabbing a quick dinner.”

MetroFresh will be adding a small plate bar menu that will be available all week long with a daily menu of soups, salads, and dinner entrees.

MetroFresh Midtown serves breakfast until 11 a.m., lunch all day, and Sunday Brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It uses the freshest in-season ingredients to build unexpected flavor combinations that aren’t often found at a fast-casual cafe.

MetroFresh opened in a 1,250-square-foot space in the front of the Midtown Promenade in 2005.

“We’re also introducing Slider Sundays, a menu of creative sliders on Sunday afternoons and evenings,” Anderson added.
