{sacred} thread Yoga has filed plans with City of Atlanta to convert an abandoned warehouse building at 1046 Memorial Drive SE into a yoga studio.

Renovations will include interior alterations and exterior painting at an estimated cost of $120,000, according to the permit filing.

The Memorial Drive outpost will be {sacred} thread Yoga’s third location. The studio has a location in Old Fourth Ward and East Atlanta.

The first studio was founded by in 2012. Its website describes the place as an “urban oasis for strong vinyasa flow.” {sacred} thread Yoga aims to help participants feel renewed through pranayama, meditation or elements of mantra which the studio thinks are not often not emphasized enough in a Westernized yoga practice.
