Restauranteur with Boston roots to open restaurant in former Drink Art space.

The Castleberry Hill neighborhood will soon to home to Match Restaurant, according to an alcohol license application filed with City of Atlanta this week.

The space, at 199 Walker Street, was once home to Drink Art, which shuttered early 2015.

Boston native will open and operate Match. Hammelburg was the restauranteur behind Boston eateries Joe V’s and Jimmy’s Bar & Oven.

Hammelburg, who’s operating Match under parent company J. Tacos Inc., was not immediately available for comment.

  1. Would love to see things open in Castleberry that catered to a more mature crowd, 35-50. Stop with the hookah, not everyone can handle the smoke and awesome music, live band options would be nice as well. Just my thoughts…

  2. Something with affordable entrees would be great. I’d love to be able to have dinner and a beer for $15 – $20.
