Owners Tranika Warner and Dalaine Waller are currently scouting upscale, high foot traffic locations of at least 3,000 square feet on the Westside for space to open the new storefront.

Warner and Waller, both finance industry professionals, think Margaritas and Manis might be the first Black-owned nail salon of its kind in the State of Georgia.

“Professionally we’re all about numbers, accounting, and bookkeeping, but we both love to get our nails done after a hard days work,” Warner told What Now Atlanta during a phone interview.

They intend for the nail bar to be a destination for comfort and security, both for the guests and employees.

The duo has already started the hiring process for Margaritas and Manis’ staff.

“We will provide full medical, dental, vision coverage for our employees,” added Waller.

“So we’re not only creating jobs, but we’re making sure that their families are secured in the future.”

Waller and Warner are aiming for a debut in June 2020 with a soft opening and grand opening both slated for the weekend of June 5.
