Giles did not immediately return a request for comment.

Cake & Sip, which currently operates a flagship location at 576 Lee St SW, takes its cues from the popular “paint & sip” model, in which guests partake in libations while engaging in a hands-on activity – in this case, cake decorating.

According to the website, “Whether it’s your birthday, date night, wedding, or a bachelorette, this is a fun interactive experience for all occasions and yes….men enjoy this experience as well.”

What’s more, the sipping portion of Cake & Sip is BYOB, “so come ready to pop bottles, engage in great conversation, and be your own cake boss.”

To date, Cake & Sip has been featured on popular television networks such as Bravo, OWN, and FOX5 News, putting Giles and the business on the map as a first-of-its-kind experience.

Prior to opening Cake & Sip, Giles has enjoyed an illustrious career that includes her own catering company, Cheffany’s Cakes & Catering Inc, as well as a consultant role with The Hive Buckhead and executive sous chef with Fox Restaurant Concepts.
