The concept started as a cart at Lenox Square Mall before adding a second cart at Perimeter Mall. The forthcoming North Point Mall full service location will open in time for the holiday season, with the Phipps Plaza space following in 2016.

The boutique bars will offer flavors such as mango white chocolate, fresh blueberry cheesecake, crème brulee and rose lychee.

Here are some of the new features each bar will have at the new locations, per the release:

  • A dedicated macaron and pasty bar featuring new and limited release selections of macarons, including champagne macarons infused with champagne and Orangette, the French method of candied orange peel hand-placed within a dark chocolate macaron
  • Gluten-free macaron-based pastries, such as French opera cakes and chocolate royal
  • Sparkling wine service featuring Macaron Queen’s private label
  • A tailored and personal shopping experience, including mobile checkout and macaron valet service
  • A loyalty program for Macaron Queen members featuring exclusive, invitation-only events and specials
  • Exclusive educator discounts

Editor’s note: On September 30, a representative of Macaron Queen told What Now Atlanta in an email that contrary to the original release, the lease for the Phipps Plaza location has not yet been finalized. Stay tuned for further details as they become available.

  1. I can’t wait to see the Macaroon Queens new expanded locations. The first time I had a macaroon from them I fell in love with the colors and exquisite tastes. I certainly look forward to seeing good taste and good people expanding and doing well.

  2. it is such an exciting news!
I and many of my friends are looking forward to experience more flavors of our favorite pastry. I have tried many macaroons but Macaron Queen is totally something else.
Your new locations will be a success
    Without any doubt.

  3. Macaron Queen has lots of Fans! We’ve been begging for them to allow us to pick our flavors. Would have thought their first would be in Lenox Square Mall where their original kiosk is but Phipps is close enough and honestly it could use a sophisticated French Cafe. The restaurants there are such meat markets.
