Lululemon has been known to open pop-up stores as a means for testing a market before committing to a longterm lease. If successful in The Avenue, the retailer will likely transform the store into a permanent location. The company earlier this year made its recent pop-up in The Grove Los Angeles a permanent store after a successful temporary run there.

The Avenue East Cobb in August celebrated 21 years in business. Its longtime tenants include Banana Republic, Pottery Barn, Williams Sonoma, the only Origins in the state. The most recent additions to the center include K Squared Artisan Boutique, Olea Oliva!, Ginny Marie’s Boutique, and Xfinity. Restaurants include Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, Stockyard Burger & Bones, and Drift Seafood & Oyster Bar.

  1. This joins the Athleta store that opened a few months ago. Glad to see for East Cobb. As much as I appreciate the Avenues, the retail mix is stuck in 1998. This helps a bit, hope it lasts
