The Colonnade is located at 1879 Cheshire Bridge Road NE. The 9,000-square-foot restaurant has seating for almost 300, a full bar and lounge, and a private events space.
The Colonnade has been around since 1927. It was located at the corner of Lindbergh and Piedmont until 1962. It then moved to its current location on Cheshire Bridge Road.
Jack Clark sold the restaurant to Paul Jones in 1979. Jones’ daughter Jodi and her husband David are the current owners, running all day-to-day operations.
“The Colonnade is truly a family affair,” according to the website.
According to the sales listing from The Shumacher Group, the new owners of the restaurant will be able to “keep or convert.”
The restaurant is priced at $975,000.
The sales listing notes that the restaurant is currently open only 24 hours a week, so adding additional shifts could “dramatically increase business.” Currently, The Colonnade is open 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 12 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
The menu includes hearty entrees like southern fried chicken, pot roast, sirloin steak, pork chops, beer-battered fish and chips, and more.
