These restaurants will bring the number of locations for Savage Pizza to five. The pizzeria that first made its debut in Atlanta more than 20 years ago can now be found in Little Five Points and Avondale Estates.
The brand most recently opened in Kennesaw, with a location that celebrated its grand opening on Aug. 24, 2024.
“The expansion into new markets is a thrilling milestone for Savage Pizza,” managing partner Nipul Patel said in an announcement. “Savage has had an incredible journey over the past two decades, and we’re eager to share our passion for pizza and superhero fun with new audiences across Georgia. Each new location will embody the spirit and excitement of our original restaurants while offering fresh experiences tailored to the local communities.”
The menu includes a variety of specialty pizzas, like the White on White (thyme-seasoned ricotta, monterey jack, chèvre, parmesan and mozzarella over garlic white sauce) and the Southern Cue (barbecue sauce, roasted chicken, yellow onions, green peppers, applewood smoked bacon and monterey jack). Additional items like hot subs, calzones, lasagna, salads and breadsticks round out the menu.
The Norcross location of Savage Pizza will open at the space formerly occupied by Paizanos after the restaurant was sold by Steve Josovitz of The Shumacher Group. The space is 3,300 square feet and has seating for about 110 people.
It’s not yet clear where exactly the Athens outpost will be, but according to the website, that location and the Norcross one are “coming soon.”
