Apparently Sports Bars With a Flat Screen Overload is The Way To Go When Opening a ‘Restaurant’ in a Recovering Economy
Planned for a spring opening in 2010, Legends Sports Bar & Grill is working with Freshmaker Design firm — the designers behind Rare Soul Tapas, Social House, and Eniya Anise Salon.
The concept is modern sports bar, paying homage to the great sports legends of yesteryear. Vintage touches will pepper the venue and feature pool tables, dartboards and even a putting green.
The menu will consist of classic American fare, but will also feature soul food specialties such as barbecue ribs, collard greens, candied yams, and mac & cheese.
Construction is already under way at the first location on Bluffington Road and the framework is going up at a second location in the Greenbriar mall area.
The recently opened Hudson Grille, a Metrotainment disaster restaurant on Peachtree Street in Midtown, has at least 52 flat screen televisions — yes, we have counted. Wondering if Legends has plans of buying out Best Buy as well.

Didn’t realize the level of sarcasm that was necessary in order to provide an informative website. I do find your website informative, thus I return. I definitely don’t enjoy the sarcasm. Seems childish. If they want to put up 100 TVs, more power to them.
interesting.. im a friend of the owner of rare and he was telling me about a concept he was working on very similiar. I guess this freshmaker company is stealing his good ideas.. and soul food thats the problem with atlanta no creativity… atlanta doesnt need another flat screen showroom. It will flop.
The owner of Rare is an idiot. A visit to any of his locations will tell you how poorly those places are run.
They are already flopping.
HERE IS THE PROCESS:
1.A soon to be owner of a business signs a lease.
2.That owner has in mind what his concept will be and hires a chef, gm and staff.
3. He hires a design firm to complete the interior of the said business.
4. That design firm designs with in the parameters and budget the owner has set.
5. Design firms do not come up with the business plan, menu, or name of business.

I applied for a position with this place its a dump and by the looks of things they need to go back to the bank and put some real money into the place it looks dirty and cheap.. the company that designed it is pretty bad i must say.. what a dump.

Legends is the Sh$t!!! I went there three weeks ago, one week after it open and it is beautiful in the inside. So, whoever is on here saying this place is a dump is truely a moron… Get your mind right and it will be a success!!!
The legend Is the best and the food is off the chain if u ever visit try there crab legs they are worth the price
