Lean Kitchen Company, the healthy prepared meal brand based in St. Joseph, MO, will open its first Georgia store at 4905 Alabama Road in Roswell, according to a building permit that has been issued by Cobb County. The application, for an estimated $105,000.00 of work, was issued on December 27th, 2021.

Lean Kitchen Company was born out of a partnership between Austin Evans and JR Robinson, who together started the company in 2016. The prepared meal brand began franchising in 2018 and offers a model where franchisees commit to opening two locations, the first is a commissary kitchen where meal preparations take place and the second is the storefront where the meals are delivered to and sold from. Franchisees can continue buying territory until the kitchen’s production is maxed out.

Lean Kitchen’s chef-driven meals are prepared from scratch and packed with protein. The brand shares all ingredients and nutrition facts on their labels so you’ll always know when you’re putting into your body. Menus offer meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snacks, and you can find low carb and vegan options as well.

We reached out to Lean Kitchen but did not hear back at the time of publication, so it is currently unclear what stage in the process the Roswell location will be. The permit indicates Lean Kitchen will operate out of the Indian Creek Plaza, a shopping center owned by The Geneva Group.
