UPDATE (May 1, 2019): Las Vegas’ Carson Kitchen Secures Lease in Alpharetta City Center
Las Vegas-based Carson Kitchen could open an Atlanta location later this year.
Parent company Eleven Hospitality Group submitted a Letter of Intent (LOI) to lease a yet-to-be-disclosed space in the metro-area for its newest location, a company spokesperson Thursday told What Now Atlanta (WNA) over the phone.
Eleven partner Cory Harwell and his team are looking to take the restaurant concept—once co-owned by the late celebrity chef Kerry Simon and his family—nationwide.
“My adopted hometown may be Vegas but I’m a Georgia boy through and through,” Harwell said in a statement prepared for WNA.
“I grew up in the Atlanta area and I wanted to give a taste of my baby (Carson Kitchen) to my hometown. Looking forward to this new venture and making Carson Kitchen the new Atlanta hotspot.”
Harwell via his spokesperson said to expect an early-summer announcement once plans are finalized.
Founded in 2014, the “urban casual eatery” serves “playful interpretations” on American comfort food.
