The company recently filed one of several anticipated permit applications with the City of Atlanta for the new storefront, the first public step toward opening since plans were first announced in Jan. 2019.

In The Met, Land of a Thousand Hills will occupy four tenant spaces, according to the official filing, and will act as the company’s headquarters.

Last week’s application is for Phase One of Four, and calls for the build-out of the company’s 5,110-square-foot bakery, at 680 Murphy Street.

Construction on Phase One is expected to cost $100,000.

It’s unclear when Land of a Thousand Hills will open its new retail presence in The Met. The company’s website simply lists the location as “coming soon.”
