Modern Italian restaurant in Druid Hills abruptly closes its doors, last remaining Atlanta location.
La Tagliatella, the European-based Italian restaurant with more than 130 locations across Spain and France, has closed in Emory Point, the last remaining Atlanta location of the brand.
Doug Brandenburg, owner of Premier Grease, first made What Now Atlanta (WNA) aware of the closure. Brandenburg went by the space this week to recycle the restaurant’s cooking oil, but was unable to get inside or reach management.
As of Friday, the restaurant’s Facebook page has been deleted, its website taken offline and its phone disconnected.
La Tagliatella’s first Atlanta location in Midtown, at 933 Peachtree Street NE, closed its doors in March of this year.
The Midtown location was La Tagliatella’s flagship store and the “first steps in its U.S. expansion plan…”
What will replace the restaurant in the Druid Hills mixed-use development has not been confirmed at this time.

Good riddance. That place was awful! Everything tasted like it came out of a can or a microwave.
Emory Point absolutely sucks! Parking is terrible and this location will never be a destination. Remember Bonefish Grill? Wasn’t the Emory Point location the only one to ever close in the country? Sadly I predict other will close down too. I like others will never venture on Clifton when there are better designations in the city.
