The newest McDonough location for the Tex-Mex joint was quietly announced three months ago in an Instagram post from the Phillips Edison & Company, confirming the opening at the Westridge location, which is anchored by a Publix. This opening would coincide with the nearby Noire the Nail Bar, a “strong nail salon operator with several locations throughout the country,” according to the Instagram post. An employee at La Michoacana Mexican Restaurant’s current 1074 Bear Creek Blvd spot in Hampton further confirmed the opening.

La Michoacana Mexican Restaurant serves a mixture of authentic and Tex-Mex cuisine like homemade salsa, sauces, chips, tortillas, and spices. Lunch specials are offered from Monday to Friday until 3:30 PM.
