$70 million ‘adaptive reuse retail development’ project will showcase 13 vendors during its first week.

Real estate developer Paces Properties in a press release Friday announced its mixed-use project Krog Street Market (KSM) in Inman Park at 99 Krog Street will officially open to the public on Monday, November 24.

“KSM the [first] of its kind in Atlanta and easily one of our most rewarding projects to date,” David Cochran, president and CEO of Paces Properties, said in the release.

“…Witnessing this grand transformation from a neglected and dilapidated warehouse into this modern marketplace filled to the rim with local talent is awe-inspiring…”

The $70 million “adaptive reuse retail development” project announced in 2012 which entailed the renovation of a vacant 1920s manufacturing warehouse is now a 30,000-square-foot food hall and urban market.

KSM is comprised of 16 food and retail market stalls, five anchor restaurants and two freestanding retail buildings. While there are only three stalls remaining for lease, “The Market” will eventually house over 25 tenants, according to the release.

Here are the tenants that are expected to open during the project’s first week in business:

  • Craft Izakaya
  • Fred’s Meat & Bread
  • French Market Flowers
  • Grand Champion BBQ
  • Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams
  • Krog Street Pet Works
  • Little Tart Bakeshop
  • The Luminary
  • Mama Bath + Body
  • The Spotted Trotter Charcuterie
  • Xocolatl Small Batch Chocolate
  • Yalla

The following tenants are slated to open their doors after Thanksgiving or in early 2015:

  • The Cockentrice
  • Hop City Inman Park
  • Pannus Bakery
  • Spice Road Chicken
  • Off the Dock Seafood
  • Superica Mex-Tex
  • Gu’s Dumplings
  • Greg Best & Regan Smith Restaurant Concept

Krog Street Market will be open Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. KSM’s anchor restaurants and market tenants will each establish their own hours of operations which can be found at KrogStreetMarket.com.
