Signage at the Midtown Promenade shopping center space, at 931 Monroe Drive NE, announces the new concept is “coming soon.”

Kiri will close July 10, an employee at the restaurant Sunday told What Now Atlanta in a telephone interview.

After a quick interior makeover, the new concept will open in Kiri’s place as early as July 27, they said.

Poke City, Atlanta’s latest poke concept, opened its first location in Johns Creek earlier this year serving Poke Bowls and Burritos, Açaí Bowls, and Cold Pressed Drinks.

A Decatur location is also in the works, according to the restaurant’s website.

Tom Jun, Poke City’s owner, did not immediately return What Now Atlanta’s request for comment.
