King of Pops announced its return to Truist Park and The Battery for the 2023 baseball season. After a few years away, fans can once again enjoy frozen treats while cheering on the Atlanta Braves.

Known for their creative pop flavors, Atlanta-based King of Pops has been a fixture at Braves games since 2013 at Atlanta Fulton County Stadium. They’ll be serving a wide variety of flavors, including classics like Strawberry Lemonade and Chocolate Sea Salt as well as unique options like Pineapple Habanero and Banana Puddin’. They even plan to create a custom Braves flavor.

“We are so happy to be back at Truist Park and The Battery,” said Steven Carse, co-founder of King of Pops in a statement. “We’re especially excited about the leadership that’s stepping into this huge opportunity.”

King of Pops’ franchisee Angel Colon will be overseeing the operations at Truist Park. “I’m beyond excited to bring King of Pops to Truist Park and work with the Braves organization. As a lifelong baseball fan, this is a dream come true for me,” said Angel. “I’m excited to collaborate with the Braves to create a unique and enjoyable experience for fans, and I’m confident that King of Pops will be a highlight of their ballpark experience. This is a fantastic opportunity and I’m honored to be a part of it.”

Additionally, Justin and Tracey Guinyard who are also current King of Pops franchisees in the Smyrna area will be overseeing King of Pops in The Battery. “We are excited to bring King of Pops to the Battery!” said Tracey. “The Battery is such a beloved part of the adjacent Smyrna community and we’re looking forward to being part of the fun.”

King of Pops will be available at Truist Park and The Battery for all home games starting on Opening Day, April 6, 2023.
