Katana Teppanyaki and Sushi has been listed for sale in Buckhead.
The freestanding, 5,500-square-foot building, sits adjacent the now-shuttered Houston’s, at 3345 Lenox Road NE.
Katana has been listed through The Shumacher Group for $320,000.
The sales price includes all furniture, fixtures, equipment, and rights to Lease.
It does not include the Katana name or brand, but a new owner can keep the concept, staff, and management.
Rent is $20,800 per month plus $5,383.33 in “extras,” but the “landlord has indicated they would consider a base of $15,000 to $17,000 per month,” according to the listing.
Katana, which replaced Ruby Tuesday in 2014, had a million-dollar buildout.
The restaurant has seating for 200+ and an outdoor patio.
In April 2018 Atlanta media circulated baseless rumors that the Ritz-Carlton would build a new hotel at the site.
“The Ritz–Carlton is always looking towards the future and for the right opportunities with the right owner partners, but cannot confirm any new developments at this time,” a spokesperson at the time of the rumors told What Now Atlanta in an email.
“The Ritz–Carlton remains committed to the vibrant Atlanta metro area market with The Ritz–Carlton, Atlanta and The Ritz– Carlton Reynolds, Lake Oconee.”
The rumors started circulating following the closure of the luxury hotel’s closure of its existing Buckhead hotel.
