Patina, a “high energy nightlife focused bar, dining, cocktail and wine lounge, garden and private events space” will be situated atop Star Metals Offices on Atlanta’s Westside with sweeping, 260-degree panoramic views of the entire city, according to a press release. A long-term lease was signed for over 12,000 square feet in the Allen Morris Company’s second installation in the Star Metals District.
“We look forward to having Painted Hospitality at Star Metals Offices,” Spencer Morris, President of the Allen Morris Company, said. “We’re very thoughtful around the curation of the Star Metals District, and Patina is the perfect rooftop anchor for the neighborhood.”
Since its opening, Star Metals District has drawn several well-known concepts to Atlanta’s West Midtown, including Prevail Coffee, Sweetgreen, Wagamama, Savi Provisions market, and James-Beard finalist Sushi Hayakawa, among others.
Star Metals Offices is the creative office installation of the $500 million, 8-acre Star Metals District development project that includes Sentral West Midtown at Star Metals, a Class A+ luxury rental apartment community with 409 residences.
“I’ve been searching for the perfect rooftop space in Atlanta for as long as I can remember,” Justin Amick, CEO & President of Painted Hospitality, said. “Patina is a tarnish in color on the outer surface of a material, forming most commonly on bronze, copper, and other related metals. It’s the befitting name for Star Metals’ signature space and a name that will dictate and inspire our namesake design and aesthetic.”
Amick and team will open Patina in September 2023 (yes, 2023). Until then, enjoy this pic of the lovely duckpin lanes at sister concept The Painted Duck:
