A Jared store is planned for 3465 Buckhead Loop NE, according to a building permit application with the City of Atlanta. The building, located next to Buckhead Church and the SpringHill Suites hotel, used to be a Wells Fargo bank.

According to the application, the scope of work includes recladding the building, raising the height of the facade, repositioning the main entry, and adding about 2,000 square feet onto the building where the bank drive-thru was. The estimated cost of construction is almost $1 million.

Construction documents indicate that the new structure will include a walk-in vault, consultation rooms, a custom design studio, a customer lounge area, and a service center where jewelry can be cleaned, modified and repaired.

Jared is part of Signet Jewelers, which is the largest retailer of diamond jewelry, at approximately 2,700 locations across all of its brands. Jared has more than 200 stores across the US.

The brand specializes in engagement rings, watches, and other fine jewelry for both women and men.
