Orlando-based Jeremiah’s Italian Ice will soon serve up its frozen sweets in Cumming beginning this Tuesday. This new opening is part of a larger expansion in Atlanta’s metropolitan area by franchise owner Chirag Patel. He told What Now Atlanta that he plans to open two more locations in Alpharetta and Johns Creek in the near future.
The new Jeremiah’s Italian Ice will offer guests both indoor and outdoor seating, a drive-thru and third party delivery services in the upcoming months. The shop’s location at 1595 Peachtree Pkwy will be a family-friendly destination for local residents looking to enjoy the brand’s one-of-a-kind frozen products.
Anyone, from preschooler to high schooler, all the way up to age 65-plus, can be customers,” Patel told What Now Atlanta.
His second and third locations will be in Alpharetta and Johns Creek. After Tuesday’s opening, Patel will hit the ground running to find a place in either city in the next two to three months, with the goal of opening by summer 2023. Patel’s third franchise will then follow a year from then.
The ideal space will be between 1,000 to 1,500 square feet and include a drive-thru and outdoor seating area.
Patel said he is currently working to establish partnerships with local schools, first responders, and community organizations. He aims to use his new venture to leave a lasting, positive impact on communities, beginning with Cumming.
“The best part about Jeremiah’s is the fact that our products keep customers coming back for more,” Patel said in a press release statement. “Jeremiah’s Italian Ice is creamier, richer, and better looking than anything that can be bought in retail. We hope to turn many first-time customers into repeat customers with our new location in Cumming.”
Patel will create about 25 new jobs at each new franchise. For his next construction, he said that he is looking to work with a new contractor.
Jeremiah’s Italian Ice has 60 locations in Florida, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Louisiana, and Texas. The company has partnered with Pivotal Growth Partners to help guide the brand’s expansion throughout the United States.
