Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams Opening in The Battery Atlanta

Scoop shops are also underway in Glenwood Park, Midtown.

Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams will be joining The Battery Atlanta’s array of eateries, a spokesperson for the national chain confirmed. This will be the Ohio-based ice cream shop’s sixth location around the Atlanta area.

Boasting a wide array of restaurants such as C. Ellet’s and Superica, The Battery has an ice cream shop in Häagen-Dazs.

Started by Charly and Jeni Bauer in 2002, Jeni’s has opened 48 locations across the nation. The company is focused on creating zero waste. According to its website, 95 percent of Jeni’s products are reusable, recyclable, or compostable.

The company’s most recent opening in Atlanta was in October of 2019 in Buckhead and is coming soon to Glenwood Park and Midtown.

    — Nice to see, that as a company, that’s their goal. However, it seems like the consumer is
    responsible for making a lot of that happen.
    I yelled at a woman a couple of weeks ago that threw her Jeni’s cup out of her car window in front of my house. I made her pick it up. I was so pissed!!!
     

    1. You’re not alone! I get so mad when I see people throwing trash on the ground. Like come on people, it’s not hard to throw trash in a trash can!!!

      1. I was out doing yard work when it happened, ya know trying to keep my property presentable…
        It was like a total slap in the face when she did that!
        I’m constantly digging beer cans etc out of my shrubs– it gets discouraging.
