Brothers Ryan and Jonathan Akly, who co-owned Three Sheets, have partnered with Executive Chef Giancarlo Ruiz, who will helm the menu alongside Mission + Market Chef Ian Winslade. Expect lots of handmade pastas and modern takes on Italian classics, including fresh burrata with heirloom tomatoes, veal Milanese, and Cavatelli with lamb sugo.

The space boasts a 3,500-square-foot dining room and a 1,500-square-foot patio, and will also double as an Italian marketplace, which will sell handmade pasta, sauces, coffee, pastries, and prepared meals. The market also plans to host wine tastings, pasta-making classes, and private events.

“While we are so proud of our long tenure running Three Sheets, we are very excited for this next chapter,” partner and co-owner Jonathan Akly, who closed Three Sheets last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, said in a press release. “Looking ahead, this presented us with the perfect opportunity to pursue this new endeavor.”
