Shuttered location’s Ad for hire on Craigslist makes us think they were playing dead
EVOS restaurant placed an Ad on Craigslist.org seeking applicants for their Sandy Springs and Midtown locations.
But EVOS closed their Midtown location on Oct. 28 (story here).
So, maybe they’re opening a location in Midtown elsewhere? Nope. The Ad, placed on Dec. 13, specifies EVOS Viewpoint at 855 Peachtree Street, the shuttered location.
“We are hiring for Guest Service Team Members and Production Team Members in: EVOS Prado (5590 Roswell Rd, Suite 140 Atlanta, GA 30342) and Opening Soon, EVOS Viewpoint (855 Peachtree Street Atlanta, GA 30308).”
We gave them a ring and the phone number connected to the Midtown location gives this message:
“We regretfully inform you that as of October 28 2010, we will no longer be serving from our Evos Viewpoint location. We have made the decision to relocate the Viewpoint restaurant to the Roswell Market.”
So what gives? Are they reopening or not? Maybe the management simply pasted the wrong address for one of their coming soon locations?
If they do reopen, they will be directly across the street from Spire’s new tenant, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, opening soon.

5 Guys is going in across the street at Spire. If EVOS couldn’t make it before, they won’t after 5 Guys opens.

The two are marketed at completely different people and ought to have no effect on each others’ business.
I hope they reopen. Only got to try it once and really liked.
Maybe for this round of hires they should avoid the Rapey/stabby kind of employees.
They better reopen because I still have a $50.00 giftcard!
Evos is a nice idea, but the food is awful.
