The space was previously occupied by rival WeWork which had leased a whopping 100,000 square feet in the downtown tower ahead of terminating its lease earlier this year. It’s unclear if the remaining 80,000 square feet left behind by WeWork has been leased.

Dubbed Industrious Downtown — 101 Marietta Street, the new co-working facility is slated to open December 2021 steps from Centennial Olympic Park, State Farm Arena, and Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

“Atlanta is a really strong market for Industrious,” Peri Demestihas, Senior Director of Real Estate at Industrious, said in the release. “As we expand our footprint across the city, it’s vital that we have locations in each submarket of the city to provide members with as much flexibility and ease of access between our spaces as possible and to meet people where they are. We’re thrilled to open a new location Downtown and are proud to partner with Dilweg to bring a flexible workplace offering to 101 Marietta Street.”

Industrious Downtown — 101 Marietta Street will feature private offices and shared workspaces for individuals and teams of various sizes, conference rooms, a cafe and multiple lounge areas, and more. Members are also afforded access to 101 Marietta Street’s onsite amenities including a fitness center with locker rooms, parking deck, a tenant lounge, and more. Additional information, including amenity details and how to book a tour, can be found here.

“Downtown Atlanta is a strategic place to put roots right now with Centennial Yards in the pipeline and now the arrival of Industrious at 101 Marietta Street,” Jerry Banks, Managing Director of Asset Management for landlord Dilweg, said. “The momentum in Downtown Atlanta will only continue to grow, and we look forward to welcoming Industrious to the district this December.”

Originally built in 1975, 101 Marietta is also known as Centennial Tower. Under Dilweg, 101 Marietta underwent major renovations featuring a lobby with a life-size video wall, new seating and meeting areas, and an all-new modern look and feel. The project also included a revitalized fitness center with all new equipment, a brand new conference, and training facility that can seat up to 50 people, and “The Hub” offering lounge, meeting, and gaming areas for tenants and their employees.

CBRE’s Nima Ghomghani and John Dolan represented Industrious in the partnership process. Chris Port, Kyle Kenyon, and Alex Port of CBRE represented Dilweg.
