In its one hour Mission Experience, teams suit up in hazmat gear before dodging lasers and cracking codes to disarm a paint bomb (or foam bomb depending on the experience chosen) — teams receive photos and videos of the blast to share on social media.

In the more casual Game Bays, groups can kick back and play on-demand mini games while enjoying drinks and shareable snacks from The Bomb Bar.

The company has developed a patented room-based gaming system using touch screens, motion sensors, RFID technology, projection-walls, and lasers with games that test communication, coordination and agility, according to the release.

“Atlantans have high standards for entertainment, and we are ready to deliver something that will truly blow them away,” CEO and Founder Alex Patterson said in the release. “We have lasers. We have crazy special effects. We have colorful slushies at The Bomb Bar. What more could you ask for? While only 7% of teams Beat The Bomb on their first try, everyone is guaranteed to have a blast and come back for more. Start assembling your Bomb Squads, ATL!”

The 10,000 square-foot space owned by Jamestown, developer of Ponce City Market, features 10 immersive Mission game rooms (including four laser maze rooms and two glass-walled Bomb rooms), a beer garden with four interactive Game Bays, and The Bomb Bar offering a menu of shareable snacks and signature drinks. The menu includes multiple varieties “Bomb Dogs” with a choice of beef franks, chicken tenders or Beyond Meat; “abuela-approved” chips & dips such as Mexican Street Corn and Buffalo Chicken; pizzas featuring house-made san marzano tomato sauce; and more.

The Bomb Bar features spiked slushies such as a classic Margarita with fresh squeezed lime, Blue Hawaii, and Laser Red Shirley plus Bomb Beater shots, high balls, signature cocktails and local Atlanta beers.

The venue includes a 300 square-foot small party space, perfect for kids birthdays and small company outings along with a 1,000 square-foot large event space, perfect for company retreats and school outings.

Beat The Bomb Atlanta will be open all year long Tuesday through Sunday, including special opening hours for key holidays. Advanced ticket purchase is recommended. In early 2023, the company will open its third U.S. location in Washington, D.C.
