Lagarde, Adams’ middle name, will be situated in the Parkview on Peachtree development, at 5090 Peachtree Blvd.
It will pay homage to the chef’s parents, who were born and raised in New Orleans.
“The menu will reflect a bird’s eye view of Americana through the culinary lense of New Orleans,” a company spokesperson in an email Wednesday told What Now Atlanta.
Many of Lagarde’s menu items will be based upon family recipes that Adams grew up enjoying, especially during summers and family trips to New Orleans throughout his childhood.
Chef Jamie will be recreating his mother’s Gumbo, Barbecue Shrimp, Red Beans and Rice and Ham, and Grits and Grillade Gravy at Lagarde.
Moura and Adams will also include many Louisiana-made culinary products in their dishes, including Leidenheimer Bread brought in daily for their Po-Boys, Camilla Beans, Abita Beer, and Gulf seafood.
“There is and always has been such a rich diversity of cultures that make up New Orleans’ culinary landscape, and in creating the concept of Lagarde, we wanted to reflect all of those wonderful flavors and their varied heritage,” Adams said in a prepared statement.
“Since I became a chef, I’ve always wanted to open a restaurant that paid respect to the past and future of this multi-cultural cuisine that has had such an impact on my palate and my life. It’s such an exciting time to see this life-long dream coming to fruition.”
Il Giallo Osteria’s Pastry Chef, Libby Muldawer, will also serve at Lagarde with dishes like Pecan Pie as well as “playful desserts, like a riff on a chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwich.”
Atlanta-based interior designer Vivien Patrie of Viviesn Leigh Interiors will design Lagarde.
The restaurant will be open Tuesday through Sunday for dinner and will serve brunch and lunch on Saturday and Sunday.

I’ve never been so glad to have moved to a neighborhood in my 70 year old life. For Five will be right outside our side door. Welcome to Midtown Atlanta, and thank you for including vegan offerings! See you on Day One!
