Horseradish Grill, Under New Ownership, Awaits City Permission for Major Construction

Planned modernization will honor the 25-year-old culinary institution.

ASH Ventures, the new owners of Horseradish Grill, are looking to overhaul the restaurant, at 4320 Powers Ferry Rd., to the tune of $700,000.

The 5,334-square-foot site, originally owned by Steve Alterman, houses the 25-year-old classic “refined southern food” restaurant at the edge of Chastain Park.

Planned modernization is expected to include updates to the menu and interior and exterior of the space itself.

ASH Ventures is currently in permitting with the City of Atlanta for the changes.

Until those plans are approved, the project is in a holding pattern, Geno Dew, general manager and principal at ASH Ventures, shared with What Now Atlanta on a phone call.

One thing they do know, according to Dew, is that the changes will honor the 25-year-old culinary institution that Steve Alterman conceived and brought to fruition.
