A permit application Tuesday was filed with City of Atlanta to begin the wing shop’s “interior fit out.”
It will be situated in Suite 310 of the Fuqua development, at 935 Memorial Drive.
Construction could cost $320,000 building out the 2,000-square-foot restaurant and 600-square-foot patio.
Parent company Hooters of America, LLC also recently filed for the restaurant’s Liquor License.
A hearing with the Neighborhood Planning Unit “N” will be held April 25 at 7 p.m. regarding the application.
Hoots is planning on operating Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., according to the filing.
It will have seating for 82 including its patio.
The wing shop’s full name might be Hoots Righteous Wings, according to a Trademark registration filed for the restaurant.
It will be the second-ever location for the new brand.
The original, pictured below, is in Chicago.
But the Madison Yards outpost will be different from the original, Fuqua’s Len Erickson told What Now Atlanta (WNA) earlier this year.
Aside from the name, Erickson did not expound on how the new Hoots will be different.
Mark Whittle, chief global development officer for Hooters, told WNA in an email to expect a mid-summer 2019 opening.
He wasn’t able to share renderings “as we are still working on completing the final interior decor and design.”
